Mike serves as HLR’s Human Resources Manager, where he is dedicated to fostering a positive, engaging workplace culture that supports employee success and strengthens the firm’s Work Hard | Have Fun | Give Back® philosophy. Through open communication, collaboration, and a people-first approach, he helps create an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and connected.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational and Corporate Communication from Northern Illinois University and brings extensive experience in human resources, recruiting, and employee relations. Throughout his career, he has led HR initiatives for a variety of organizations, developing expertise in payroll administration, employee benefits, 401(k) management, talent acquisition, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce development.
As a trusted resource for employees and leadership alike, Mike works to strengthen communication across all levels of the organization while supporting programs and initiatives that enhance employee engagement and professional growth. Known for his positive attitude, approachable leadership style, and commitment to helping others succeed, Mike plays an important role in maintaining the strong culture and collaborative work environment that define HLR.
