Amy McSwane, PE, PTOE

Corporate Treasurer

Amy has been working at HLR since 2006. In her time at the company, she has progressed from a Project Engineer to leading our Preliminary and Traffic Engineering Departments in addition to serving as our Corporate Treasurer.

Prior to HLR, Amy served as the Phase I Project Manager for the IDOT Bureau of Local Roads and Streets where she processed Phase I locally-funded projects through the federal process. Since joining HLR, she has used her previous experience to lead the preparation of highway location/design reports, intersection design studies, traffic capacity and systems analysis and modeling, safety studies, and cost estimates. She believes in cost-efficient designs, low-impact development, and is committed to collaborating with clients and stakeholders on finding practical ways to meet their infrastructure needs.
