TRIMBLE VRS BASE STATION ADDITIONS
Illinois-Indiana Trimble Network | Carmi Site | Flora Site | Robinson Site |
.
HLR is pleased to announce the installation of three new base stations to the Trimble VRS network. The Trimble VRS network is a system of continuously operating GPS base stations set up throughout the United States.
Our first site was acquired with the acquisition of Lamac Engineering in the fall of 2015. The Mt. Carmel-based site has been operating with great success since 2008. The addition of the three new Trimble NetR 9 receivers in Robinson, Flora, and Carmi, Illinois will add redundancy to the network, shorten baselines, and hopefully help Trimble start utilizing the newer BeiDou and Galileo constellations.
The Trimble VRS network allows HLR to more efficiently utilize its 12 GPS receivers across Illinois and Indiana when working on boundary surveys, oil and gas well surveys, ALTA surveys, hydrographic surveys, utility as-built surveys, construction projects, and GIS projects. We are excited to begin using this technology on your next project.
