Water System Expansion and Tower Replacement
The Birds – Pinkstaff Water District has been in existence since the 1960’s. Due to aging pipes, the District was experiencing significant loss of over 35% as well as problems producing and treating water due to amnesic in the water supply.
To get the system back into compliance with today’s standards, our engineers assisted in obtaining a Rural Development grant/loan funding package which allowed the reconstruction of the system to proceed. Once funding was secured, we designed the replacement and new lines to serve additional users in the area. In addition, a new 100,000 gallon water tower was constructed.
