Oil Lease Mapping

To obtain funding for a drilling program, Siskiyou-Twins, LP needed a map with the information of the lease owned, its relationship to existing oil production, and its location.

Our team collected and plotted all lease information. We conducted research to locate and map existing wells, county boundary data, aerial photos, coalmine data, and public land lines. All of this information, along with appropriate attribute data, was input into ArcView GIS software. A series of maps was generated at differing scales, highlighting various items. In addition to obtaining funding, this information allowed our client to sell portions of the lease holding and obtain additional leases adjacent to current holdings.
