New Water Wells and Treatment Plant Expansion
The Birds – Pinkstaff Water District had previously installed PVC pipes; however, it was discovered that the quality of PVC was not up to current standards. The district was also experiencing significant water loss of over 35% and issues producing and treating water due to amnesic in the water supply.
Our engineers partnered with the water district to get the overall system back into compliance with today’s standards. Our team helped the district obtain a Rural Development grant/loan funding package which allowed the reconstruction of the system to proceed. Once the funding was secured, we designed the replacement lines and new lines to serve additional users in the area. In addition, a new 100,000 gallon water tower was constructed.
