GROUNDBREAKING ON NEW WAYNE CITY WATER TREATMENT PLANT
Collin Dunn, EIT, Project Engineer out of our Mt. Carmel office, along with the mayor and other Village staff, recently attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Village of Wayne City’s new water treatment plant.
The current water treatment plant in Wayne City is very old and inefficient and almost entirely manual. Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick, Inc. (HLR) has been involved with the Village of Wayne City Water Treatment Plant Project from the beginning, from writing the Preliminary Engineering Report, securing funding through USDA Rural Development, and permitting, to obtaining design approval. Once construction on the plant begins, engineers from HLR will provide full-time construction engineering services throughout the project, as well as construction staking and material testing. The new water treatment plant will be entirely automated and save the Village on treatment and utility costs.
Congratulations to everyone who worked so hard to bring this project to life! Click here to read more about how HLR offers experience and expertise in the water/wastewater industry.
